Stacie and Daine McGill

Stacie and Daine took over the ownership of Maverick’s Donut, Alta Vista in January of 2022.  Originally living in Carleton Place, they moved to Kanata to live on a hobby farm, giving their two daughters, and pet dog, more space to roam freely.

Before taking the plunge in becoming an entrepreneur, Stacie’s last employment was as a licensed Insurance Broker. She took on this challenge as a way of being home more often to spend quality time with their daughters.  For 15 years prior to this, Stacie worked in the food industry where she held multiple roles, including the role of General Manager.

Daine, Stacie’s husband of 16 years, is a contractor and brings technical knowhow to the operation. You will see their daughters helping out around the shop – a true family operation!
